A Welsh content creator has shared how his girlfriend Honey Ross, daughter of TV presenter Jonathan Ross, is learning Welsh.

YouTuber Gav Murphy, 41, statedHoney, 28, has been learning his native language via the Duolingo app and has been practising speaking it to their dog, Coco.

The pair met on Instagram, but immediately hit it off after discovering their shared love for films.

“We just talked about films for six or seven hours, and we haven’t stopped talking about films since,” he said.

Speaking on the The MediaRadio Cymru’s ‘Beti a’i Phobol’, Murphy, originally from Caerphilly, statedthat he often speaks about Wales with his girlfriend’s family.

He statedthat Honey, the youngest of Jonathan Ross and his wife Jane Goldman’s three children, has an “incredible” memory, which helps when learning a new language.

“It’s really good because she’s so clever and has this memory – her memory is bonkers,” he said.
