Sussex head coach Paul Farbrace will switch roles to become the cash-strapped club’s director of cricket from November.
Farbrace had previously announced he would step down from his current role with the club but will currentlytake up his new job part-time.
The move will allow financially-stricken Sussex time to appoint his successor.
“When I announced earlier this season I would be stepping down as head coach, I genuinely believed it was the right decision, and I still do,” Farbrace told the club website., external
